Terms of Service

boarding bridge is a community-driven organization dedicated to web3 education. The Services include educational content and events (such as AMAs, meetups, and workshops), community campaigns run with partner projects, a Discord community, and the DAO portal used to coordinate contributions, record contribution points, manage events, and distribute rewards to contributors.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Services. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services, including participation in any campaign, giveaway, or reward program, is lawful in your jurisdiction. We may restrict or decline participation from any jurisdiction at our discretion.

Access to the DAO portal requires signing in with a Discord account. You may also link other accounts (such as X, Google, and Telegram) and register a wallet address by signing a message. You are solely responsible for the security of your accounts, devices, private keys, and wallets, and for all activity under your accounts. Never share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone; boarding bridge will never ask for them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Permissions within the Services (for example, member, contributor, or officer access) are derived from your roles in our Discord server and may change when those roles change.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or discriminate against others, or post unlawful, defamatory, or hateful content;
• impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• submit false or misleading information to obtain points, rewards, roles, or eligibility for any program;
• use multiple accounts, bots, or automation to manipulate contribution records, rankings, campaigns, or giveaways;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems, or to interfere with their operation;
• post spam, scams, phishing links, or unsolicited promotions, or solicit private keys or funds from members;
• use the Services in violation of any applicable law, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering laws.

Additional rules posted in our Discord server or for specific events and campaigns also apply and form part of these Terms.

Contribution points, ranks, classes, badges, and similar recognitions are non-transferable community records with no monetary value. They may be granted, adjusted, or revoked at our discretion, including to correct errors or address misuse.

Where we distribute rewards (in tokens, stablecoins, gift cards, or otherwise) for contributions, events, or campaigns, the amount, form, timing, and eligibility are determined by us or the relevant partner and may be changed. Rewards are paid to the wallet or account you have registered; you are responsible for its accuracy. Rewards may be subject to taxes in your jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for reporting and paying them. Participation in the community does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or fiduciary relationship with boarding bridge.

Each event, campaign, and giveaway may have its own rules regarding eligibility, entry conditions, deadlines, and winner selection. Winners may be selected at random or by criteria stated in the rules. We may verify entries, disqualify entries that violate the rules or these Terms, and modify or cancel any event or campaign. Partner projects are responsible for their own products, services, and token programs; boarding bridge does not guarantee them.

Nothing in the Services constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any digital asset. Educational content and discussion of projects are provided for informational purposes only. Digital assets are volatile and may lose all value; blockchain transactions are irreversible; and you use any third-party protocol, wallet, or exchange at your own risk. Always do your own research.

The Services rely on and link to third-party services such as Discord, X, Google, Telegram, blockchain networks, and partner websites. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, which we do not control.

The Services, including our name, logos, designs, and content we create, are owned by boarding bridge or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Brand assets may be used only as permitted on our Brand Assets page.

You retain ownership of content you post or submit. By posting or submitting content (including posts in our Discord server, event submissions, and social media posts made as part of a campaign), you grant boarding bridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and share that content in connection with operating and promoting the community. Certain community statistics (such as activity rankings) and public profile information may be displayed on our website as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, remove roles, or cancel pending rewards at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or community rules, or to protect the community or comply with law. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request unlinking of your accounts as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, boarding bridge and its members, officers, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising out of or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount of rewards paid to you by boarding bridge in the twelve months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless boarding bridge and its members, officers, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, unless applicable law in your place of residence requires otherwise. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to try to resolve the dispute with us in good faith.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes may also be announced in our Discord server. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
